What exactly is a proxy card?

A proxy is a custom-made stand-in for a card — same size, same feel, original art. Cozy Cove proxies are printed, laminated, trimmed and corner-rounded by hand at standard 2.5" × 3.5", so they shuffle and sleeve like anything else in your deck.

Can I play with these?

At your kitchen table, in your Commander pod, and anywhere else the group is happy with them — yes, that's what they're for. They are not tournament legal and aren't sold as real cards: no sanctioned event will accept a proxy, and these aren't counterfeits of anything. They're custom art on cardstock, meant for casual play and for collecting.

How is foil different from non-foil?

Foil prints onto holo vinyl mounted on cardstock, which gives it real shine and weight. Being straight about it: the holo surface can render fine text slightly softer than the non-foil version does. If crisp rules text matters more to you than shine, go non-foil — that's not us talking you out of a sale, it's the honest trade-off.

How long does an order take to arrive?

Every set is made to order by hand, so processing time depends on what's in it. The current processing and shipping estimates are shown on each Etsy listing — that's the copy that stays up to date, so it's the one to trust.

What if something arrives damaged or wrong?

Message the shop on Etsy with a photo and it gets sorted out. Orders placed through Etsy are covered by Etsy's own purchase protection and the shop's return policy, both listed on the shop page.

Can you make something custom?

Yes — a single card, a themed set, or a whole Commander bundle. Send a message on Etsy with the idea and any reference art you have, and let's make something awesome.

Can I order from this site instead of Etsy?
